{"id":1802336,"date":"2022-01-14T13:10:20","date_gmt":"2022-01-14T18:10:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.triathlonquebec.org\/blogue\/summer-job-offer-events-coordinator\/"},"modified":"2022-01-14T13:10:20","modified_gmt":"2022-01-14T18:10:20","slug":"summer-job-offer-events-coordinator","status":"publish","type":"blogue","link":"https:\/\/www.triathlonquebec.org\/en\/blogue\/summer-job-offer-events-coordinator\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer job offer &#8211; Events coordinator"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Summer job offer &#8211; Events coordinator (4 positions available &#8211; Montreal)<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Job type: <\/strong>Full-time, Internship, Fly-In \/ Fly-Out<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary: <\/strong>$17\/hour, 25 to 30 hours\/week<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start and end dates:<\/strong> June 1 to August 29, 2022 (possible extension in September)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Do you have a passion for events, love being outdoors and have an eye for detail?<\/p>\n<p>Triathlon Qu\u00e9bec is looking for Associate Event Coordinators!<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Events Coordinator, you will facilitate the planning and on-site execution of partner event race calendar activities. You will work closely with internal customers and external suppliers to ensure a safe experience for participants. You will carry out a wide range of events across Quebec.  <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main tasks :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Logistical support for the school triathlon program (May-June) :\n<ul>\n<li>Manage equipment and vehicle logistics;<\/li>\n<li>Represent the federation at school events;<\/li>\n<li>Assist the organizer in coordinating and running the event;<\/li>\n<li>Write a technical report after each event.<\/li>\n<li>Communicating the school triathlon program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Support for regular events during the summer season (July-August):\n<ul>\n<li>Manage equipment and vehicle logistics;<\/li>\n<li>Setting up and dismantling competition sites;<\/li>\n<li>Act as an official at competitions (training will be provided);<\/li>\n<li>Customer service at the Triathlon Qu\u00e9bec promotional tent.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure live communication at events (social network management, video recording, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Willingness to work long hours on weekends;<\/li>\n<li>A valid driver&#8217;s license;<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy working in the field and be in good physical shape;<\/li>\n<li>A keen interest in sporting events,<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy working with the public, especially children;<\/li>\n<li>Resourceful, responsible, organized, dynamic;<\/li>\n<li>Good written and spoken French;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of triathlon an asset;<\/li>\n<li>Experience driving a cube truck an asset;<\/li>\n<li>Studies in leisure intervention or any other field related to sports, health and recreation would be an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*We do criminal background checks.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>*Official and first-aid training will be provided.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in these positions, you have until <strong>Monday April 4<\/strong> to submit your CV with a cover letter to the following address: <a href=\"mailto:jpiole@triathlonquebec.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">msullivan@triathlonquebec.org<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summer job offer &#8211; Events coordinator (4 positions available &#8211; Montreal) Job type: Full-time, Internship, Fly-In \/ Fly-Out Salary: $17\/hour, 25 to 30 hours\/week Start and end dates: June 1 to August 29, 2022 (possible extension in September) &nbsp; Do you have a passion for events, love being outdoors and have an eye for detail?
