It will also be possible to connect remotely for those unable to make the trip. <\/p>\n<p>Nominations are open for 3 positions on the TQ Board of Directors. Anyone wishing to contribute their skills and vision to the association is strongly encouraged to submit a nomination. Nominations must reach the Corporation&#8217;s secretariat no later than <strong><u>June 18, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.<\/u><\/strong>. Please note that it is no longer necessary to be referred by a club. In addition, as of 2024, the Board of Directors must include at least 2 independent directors. An independent director cannot be a director or member of a club, a coach, an official, or an athlete or parent of an athlete on the national or international scene. To apply, you must complete the <u>nomination form<\/u>, the <u>criminal record check form<\/u> and the <u>declaration of interest form<\/u>. We also invite you to consult the <u>administrator&#8217;s code of conduct<\/u>.       <\/p>\n<p>Here are the profiles sought for the positions on offer:<\/p>\n<p>Personal qualities :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic thinking<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ethics, integrity and transparency<\/li>\n<li>Good judgment<\/li>\n<li>Leadership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills required :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accounting<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of top-level sport<\/li>\n<li>Endowment<\/li>\n<li>Ethics<\/li>\n<li>Finance<\/li>\n<li>Philanthropy<\/li>\n<li>Public Relations<\/li>\n<li>Human resources<\/li>\n<li>Technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills already acquired :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<li>Business development<\/li>\n<li>Law<\/li>\n<li>Innovation and change management<\/li>\n<li>Project management<\/li>\n<li>Governance<\/li>\n<li>Marketing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications will be sent to members no later than July 3, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>You will receive an e-mail within the next week containing the credentials and voting rights for your club. Credentials should be returned to us to confirm your attendance, or to appoint a delegate for your club in the event of the President&#8217;s absence. For clubs wishing to attend the AGM <strong><u>remotely<\/u><\/strong>you have until <strong><u>Tuesday, July 2, 2024<\/u><\/strong> to confirm your participation online. Four are elected in odd-numbered years and three in even-numbered years. <\/p>\n<p>The Chairman, Secretary, Vice-Chairman and Treasurer are elected by and from among the directors.<\/p>\n<p>The terms of three of the current Board positions have expired:<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 3\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 3\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<ol>\n<li>Sophie Yergeau (2022-2024)<\/li>\n<li>Charles Veilleux (2022-2024)<\/li>\n<li>Caroline G\u00e9linas interim (2022-2024)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 3\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Nominations for election to these Board positions must reach the Corporation secretariat by 5:00 p.m. on June 18, 2024.
