Alain has over 30 years’ experience in endurance sports and coaching. With his excellent grasp of the scientific and physiological foundations, he builds specific training programs using the principles of overload/compensation, enabling the athlete to be ready for the event in question. His training philosophy is based on respect for the athlete’s goals, while encouraging him or her to push personal limits. In the 1990s, he helped several Université de Sherbrooke swimmers reach national and international heights. Since then, he has made his mark in triathlon, working with several athletes in both ITU/WTC and Ironman events.
