A final camp for the Quebec Junior and Development Team before the start of local competitions

July 8, 2021

A Quebec Junior and Development Team camp was held in Montreal last weekend. Bringing together some thirty athletes from several clubs, the project was an opportunity to carry out specific training sessions in the run-up to the first competitions. Training sessions took place at various sites in Parc Jean Drapeau, including the aquatic complex, the Gilles-Villeneuve circuit and Jean-Doré beach. .

Under the primary supervision of Kyla Rolllinson, Tri-O-Lacs coach and member of the Canadian team going to the Tokyo Games, Dorothée Chouinard, also from Tri-O-Lacs, and Francis Sarrasin Larochelle, provicial coach, the athletes also benefited from the advice of cycling coach Chris Rozdilsky, physical trainer Charles Castonguay and mental preparation consultant Fanny Girardin during various workshops.
